Default 6 days Post-op

I just wanted to let everyone know I am back home after undergoing the change of a life time. I had some complications after surgery but not like your normal complication, I was vomiting up blood for about a day and a half, no leaks or ruptures thank heavens. I was able to come home after 4 days, I see my doctor on the 26th at 10:00, the only pain I'm having is the gas pain throughout my body from the surgery it's self. The drainage tube isn't that much fun either but I can deal with it for now. I'm not having problems with what I'm allowed to eat only being able to keep it down on occassion. I'm tired, sore and swollen but it's all going to get better with time. Best of wishes to all that have not yet under gone this surgery and god bless all of you that already have.

Linda

You really sound like a trooper Linda! Keep those spirits high and you'll do great. At 6 days post-op, I was whining! LOL

Welcome to the losing side Linda. Glad to know all went well. It will take a little while to start to adjust to it all. Take it one day at atime.

Hey Linda......welcome home and happy to hear you are ok. Most folks get better so fast it's hard to believe. For me, everyday was like a week! Keep us posted!
