Default wow moments, let's share!!

O.K., it has been along time since we shared "WOW", moments. I had one today and wow, do I want to share!!!

I was working out at the gym and I noticed this young guy, (30's, o.k. young to me), and he was kind of checking me out. He kept looking into the mirror, as if that made it less obvious.

Then this other guy walks up and says to him, "hey whatcha doin?", then he looks over at me through the mirror
and says....(get this)...."WINDOW SHOPPING",
then flashes this really cute grin.

I can't help but remember the times I would not even go to the gym because I was so self consious of my size. Here I am now, in my grubbies and no make-up. Old and married and then it happened....wow!!!

I am amped, I am going to the gym every day, now!!!

So, come on dish it out....share your newest wow moment!!!

Mine is a gym moment too........I actually jogged a whole mile! I do it in sets, not all at once. I do a few laps, then a few weight training machines, then back and forth til I do a mile and all the machines. But I have never jogged more than 1/2 the laps. A mile for me, the anti-cardio Queen, is a big accomplishment.....and I wasn't sure I was going to live to tell. Soooo, I went and bought some really cute gray and burgundy running shoes afterwards.

This is a wow moment of a different kind. I work out at a rehab center with mostly old men and women. There was a leak from the ceiling right infront of my treadmill. They called maintance and two hot guys showed up on ladders with their ...shall we say...pelvis right in my face for 45 minutes. It made me work out a bit harder....wow.

I posted this one on another thread, but my towel fits all the way around me now. I am giving away clothes left and right. I have had to adjust my carseat because there is no longer 19 massive rolls in my belly needing all the room between me and the steering wheel (theres only 2 now and they are getting smaller with each passing day). The guys at the gym smile at me now and will give me tips when my trainer is out of earshot Thank the good Lord for this surgery!

Mine was a couple weeks ago when I decided to, just for the fun of it, try on a pair of shorts that had a 46 waist. Being that I was a 56 waist when all this started I was more seeing how close I was than thinking I could actually fit the things. When I put them on I quickly realized that they were still grossly too large on me and fell right off. So I tried on a pair of 42's and WOW they fit perfectly. I had to yell for my wife to come see because I couldn't believe it. This goes along with some of my other things like: being able to reach/see my feet, being able to see my buddy again, when I lie down being able to see my ribs, feeling my hip bones, feeling my ribs. You know all the things I couldn't have seen or felt before the surgery.

Talking WOW moment!

My wow moment was the biggest one I have had yet. I have always been camera shy and firmly convinced that I am the most unphotogenic person drawing breath (and a few who no longer draw breath.)

I decided that as a 2nd wedding anniversary present to Michelle I would have some professional portraits done. It had to be as cheap as possible, since I am capital b-broke.

I had my stylist do my hair ($30), went to Macy's and had Chanel do my makeup ($0), then marched my bad self over to Sears and had portraits done. I can't believe them!! I'm pretty! I will try to post some, but had a heckuva time getting the one to be my new avatar. And yes, I AM tiny. The blouse in the picture is a Med and I had to hold up the sleeves with double sided tape. The cropped pants are 8P and I was having trouble keeping them from slipping down. (all the way down.) The only thing that wasn't too big were the famous size 4 leather pants I wore in my "other poses."

I had to give Michelle her framed 8x10 of me last night because I was so excited to have taken a whole bunch of really good pictures. She really likes them too. I am waaaaay wowed.

I had one just this morning....

I had been whining to my mother that i dont have a pair of jeans between 26(falling off my ass) and 20 (my "skinny jeans" from a few years ago) and i LOVE jeans .. id live in em if i could. This morning i noticed a pair of my husbands crumped on the floor when i was loading the washer and decided just for fun to try em on and see how much farther i have to go to fit into my hubbys clothes again.
OMG they FIT!
My husband goes up and down in weight with me normally (more up than down of course) but ive been going down so fast he cant keep up Woohoo... i havent been able to wear my hubbys clothes since we were dating! 10 years ago! Woo im so excited. Im probably going to weigh less than him soon. He will never hear the end of it Hehehehe
