Default Latest wow moment

I live in sweats, but have covered all of them with paint in the last few weeks trying to get the house into order to sell. So I went to buy new sweats at Wal-Mart. My jeans are a size 12, so I figured that's what I'd wear in sweats. Bought misses 12, got home, too big.

Took 'em back, wandered around a while, saw another rack, picked up a 10-12, they looked better, bought 'em, and they fit perfectly when I got home. Went back today to pick up a couple more pair, since they were cheap and the right length for a change, and realized the 10-12 I had bought was in GIRL'S SIZES. Far freaking out!

Is that an open invitation on the pix? I don't have many pics of me before surgery, but if I scan some in and send them to you, would you do the before/after thing? I'd love to be able to physically see the difference, as my mind is still fat, like most of us on here. I will see what I can find, if it's all right with you...?

Default First Wow Moment

I couldn't stand the way my 24's fit any more. I broke down yesterday and bought 2 pairs of jeans and 2 denim skirts in a size 20. Even my shirts have gone from 22/24 to 18! I wanted to shop for more in my new size but had to restrain myself...lol

I did alot of consignment store shopping during the big weight loss time...really worked out well for me, seemed like i'd only wear jeans once or twice before they were too big for me.....waste of money to buy new when you are loosing like crazy....

Default Mama wants a new pair of jeans

I can't wait to have that problem--losing out of clothes so quickly. I haven't worn a pair of jeans (which I love) in many years.
