I was re-reading this post because I love to read about everyone's wow moments. I have read before that when people sit for a long time theor butt bone starts to hurt. I realized in reading this post today that my butt bone makes it uncomfortable to sit in my office chair!! Pain is a GOOD thing

"WOW" Moment are pretty rare 2yrs out for me.But when I realized I had 2 this weekend I was excited.I went out of town & stayed in a hotel.I realized I could sit in a back seat & the seat belt fit with no problem..remember those days when u couldnt use the seat belts in a back seat....and I could wrap the hotel towel around my WHOLE body to dry off......OMG... hehe...
It still amazes me at times....

Omg
My 9yr old daughter gave me a hug. Not thinking much of it becuase it happens regularly.
She looked up at me and said, "Daddy, I can reach my hands!!!"
I had no idea what she ment. She finally said, (the look on her face said..you silly man)
"I could never touch my hands before, but now I can touch my hands when I hug you!!"
I almost cried!
Thanks Dr C!!!

Okay, Okay! I had my first Wow moment last night! I walked in Wal-Mart and one of the cashiers that I have known for two years from talking to her when going through her line was walking towards the door to put a buggy back. (She was so excited I was having my surgery and I have not seen her since my surgery.) So, without thinking, I was smiling at her and happy to see her and she had this really puzzled look on her face and then all of a sudden her mouth flew open. She gasped and said she didn't even recognize me! She told me I was getting around so much better and I had a spark in my eye that she had never seen before. She said I looked like I had been deflated! LOL I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO proud of myself. I can't wait for more of these kind of moments. hehehe

My Wow moments are basically whenever I see my Mom she say's I look like I lost more weight since seeing her. It makes me feel good knowing that I'm losing inches and the pounds aren't coming off as fast anymore.
