Be proud of that twenty!!! Much better than gaining it. So if you look at it that way, you are 40lbs in the lead!!!!

My trainer told methat there are many different aspects we need to look at and not focus on the scale so much. She said look at your measurements, body fat, physical feeling and then the weight too. You could be losing a lot of body fat right now. May be building lean muscle mass with your walking. I also pay attention to how my clothes fit. I have been very fortunate, however it is the week I "only" lose 2-3 lbs that I notice my clothes fitting me loser. So may be invest in a scale that takes body fat, though I have heard with those scales pay attention to the weight in the morning an dnot the body fat % and then at night pay attention tothe BF% and not the weight. I hope this helps and that I haven't rambled on too much. Feel better!

Default The scale!

I took the scale to my therapist's office and left it there. Now I only can weight myself once a week. Some think even that's too often but it works for me.

I stalled around 20 lbs for a while, too. Very normal. But frustrating!

My doctor told me that whatever you lose during the first year is due to the surgery and anything after that is up to you. I'm just over 2 yrs out and the scale hasn't budged in nearly a year. I think our bodies get to a set point that it is supposed to be at and as long as we don't abuse the snacks and junk, then we should maintain our weight. I guess I just need to learn to be satisfied with my current weight and realize that I'm never going to see 130 lbs. I really don't want to drive myself crazy by dieting and exercising like a triathlete just to lose a few more pounds and then obsess that every bite will make me fat again. I guess we never get over the food demons in our brains.

I am already walking 4-5 days a week,(and I mean a good walk!) probably about 1/2-1 mile. I take all of my vitamins and eat only my 3 planned meals daily. Any thoughts on this? I am getting really nervous that i'm doing something wrong! Oh and I stop drinking 1/2hr before meals and start 1/2 after, I get plenty of water in in between. ?????

Totally normal...you will lose and even shrink without the scale telling you.

I drank with meals and still lost. You are doing good, so just know that you will be ok.
