Smile Newbee!

Hello, every1! I am just short of 5 wks out. I had a few complications during my surgery and ended up staying over 5 hours in surgery and an extra day and half in hospital. I'm not totally to the point where alot of people are that I've talked to ("I would get back up on that table in a minute") but I do believe I will get there. I've had alot of nasua going on also. Anywho, my hopes with all of you are that I will get some positive feedback and maybe some other choices of food! Looking forward to hearing from you "Losers"!!

welcome to the losing side Betty. Sometimes the journey starts off rough but it does get better. Hang on to that belief that the way you are feeling is not permanent. It takes some time for the body to get to all the changes that are going on in your body. What are you eating now?

Default Betty Boop

Thank you all for your replies! This is really great and I am sooo glad I stumbled upon this website! I have been eating eggs, oatmeal, instant potatoes, and refried beans! And, just this morning, I had a piece of dried toast that stayed down well. I just cant seem to get enough liquids down. My Dr. says drink at least 64 oz and as much as I would love to have that much, I just cant seem to do it! Any suggestions?
