Thumbs up Christina

Thanks for the post,

It made so much sense. I watched a program on television, I forgot which one it was, but it showed a woman post-op (she had done the "switch" duo dendum or something). Anyway, she had lot's of skin left over and she went in for plastic surgery. When they did her before and after, there wasn't much of a difference to me. I said to myself then, I would not put myself through all of that for such minimal results.

Your post made a lot of sense. Thank God for a Dr. who was not just after another "job".

Thanks again for the info. I have something else to look forward to. Although I think I will only need to have work done on my stomach, who knows what time will reveal.

Hey girlfriend,

We started at the same weight!!! I am glad my post helped you out. I know there are a lot of eager plastic surgeons out there waiting to prey on unsuspecting people and just get a paycheck. However, this surgeon was more concerned with his reputation and the overall results post surgically. Therefore I found confidence in him and agreed with his suggestions. I know it is way too early to start thinking about it, but like I said I just went to find out what I needed to do now to ensure the best possible results later. I figured he would say what he did but didn't realize he would stress it so much. I am glad he did though, it will get me back on the exercise wagon and off my butt.. lol

Also remember, there are those who will have lost much more than we will have to or have lost whose results may be less then desireable because they have so much excess skin and were not able to exercise as vigorously or religiously because of the extra skin they have. So everyone is different..
