Default well I gotta make a post after getting on the scale this morning

my operation was a little more than 3 months ago. and I have dropped a total of 107lbs. its amazing, the funny part is that i dont think i look that differant, other people do, but i cant tell.

i have not eaten a single starch carb(on purpose anyway) and am in the gym 4 days a week.

yesterday for the first time since college a ran a MILE

Mike(100lbs more to go)

Congrats! Keep up the good work. I have lost 76 lbs since March and I do not see the difference even though everyone around me does. My surgeon says when we lose weight this fast our mental image cannot keep up with it, so that is why we still see ourselves the way we do.

I'm hoping to get to the century mark by my 3 month mark, but I don't know if it's gonna happen. Right now I'm at -82 at almost two months, but it's slowing down. I've upped my biking to an hour and a half 5-6 times a week.

As for seeing it... The only place I can really tell I'm losing weight is in my butt and legs. They are starting to get some of their old definition and hardness again. Only spot that still bothers me is the inner thigh. Other than that my lower body is starting to really shape up. Unfortunately my upperbody is still flabby as heck.

I JUST bought a little 10# dumb bell thing yesterday to tone my arms, but up till then, yeah. Biking is all I do. I pretty much get off work at 3:30. Chuck the rack and bike on my car. Drive to my favorite riding spot. Then I ride around until my butt and knees start to ache. It's done wonders for my weight loss. It's way more effective for me than the walking was. I need to start trying to mix in some jogging/running, but moving so fast on the bike keeps the air moving and keeps me from overheating. As for sit ups, no. I know in my mind that I should but I am generally so tired from biking that i just want to drink a liter of water and pass out.
