Default Weight loss on track?

Went for my two week follow up today - my surgeon was in emergency surgery so I didn't get to see him, but saw the nurse.

So on my scale, day of surgery, I was 261. (Can you believe they didn't weight me at the hospital?) And today at the office I was 244. (Came home and my scale says 243.2, so they are really close)

So I'm saying I've lost 17 pounds in two weeks. Does that sound about on track for any of you who were close to the same starting weight? I mean, I'm happy, no complaints here - just wondering what other's experience is.

I have my next follow up Sept. 20, exactly 3 months from my surgery date. My comment to the nurse was "He won't even know who I am when I walk in". She said, "Oh - he loves that!" So here's hoping. I'm praying to be under 200 by the start of school - Sept 6th I think. Just under 3 months - I guess we'll see!

This has been posted several times before, but it's a nicely done expectation chart - just fill in the info at the top and click 'create report'

That is a great start out of the gates. I have observed that if you lose quite a bit pre op (which you did) sometimes you don't get that huge loss in the beginning, but you have. I am so happy for you. Congrats.

According to the expectation chart, I'm a little ahead of the game! My goodness! I was shocked! Nothing like a clear liquid diet to get those pounds off.

The reality has yet to hit me, to be honest. I can't believe I am actually going to lose all this #$%@ weight!

I am very pleased - hope it continues to go this well for a little while. Just asked hubby to only give me the scale on Tuesday mornings...we'll see if we keep that up!

And I think I lost that 10% so slowly Dyann, (Took me like, 6 months and I finished back in March) that it didn't affect my post-surgical weight loss.

Thanks for all your kind words my friends. This is getting a bit exciting!
