Default i am pregnant

I am a year out as of June and I am 5 weeks pregnant. I am not sure what to do. I am REALLY tired and feel awful. I have lost 5-8pds in theses past couple of weeks. I feel like my body cant handle being pregnant right now. any suggestions.

Yikes!!! Talk to your doctor about how your WLS will affect the pregnancy ASAP.

Mine told me that I needed to be on some form of birth control because you shouldn't get pregnant within 2 years of having surgery... definitely talk to your doctor ASAP

Definitely talk to some doctors! You should call your surgeon and your OB/GYN.
Don't worry about "when" you were supposed to get pregnant after surgery...it doesn't matter now anyway. I hope you feel better soon and get to feeling better! Please keep us updated.

First off Congrats on your pregnancy. I agree you should call your doctor and get some prenatal help on board as soon as possible. I am pregnant as well and I must tell you the first couple of months were very emotional and there was a lot of uncertainity about me being pregnant. The most important thing for you to know that you are not alone. I was about 6 months post-op when I found out I was pregnant and I was freaking out because I just thought I had commited the ultimate crime. There are a couple of other great woman here on this board who have gotten pregnant before that 18-24 month period and baby is healthy and living a healthy life. Nini if you have any questions please feel free to PM or e-mail me if you need to talk.
