Default loss of appetite 3.5 months out

OK guys, for the first 3 months I guess I had head hunger - I really thought I was hungry. I ate 3 meals a days, 2 snacks like clockwork. Then last week was hectic for me at home and work and I found myself not eating meals. I had to stop and force myself to make time to eat. (We moved into a new house - I'M NEVER MOVING AGAIN - at least not while the kids are so young!) I was averaging about 1.5 a week the prior 3 weeks (which is fine - I'm losing!), then last week, I dropped 9 pounds. Maybe it was the stress of moving - but I'm SHOCKED!

I know that there have been a few posts from new losers about appetite, so for all you early post-ops, the loss of appetite was at 3 months and one week for me.

Laurie stress can be our friend and our enemy can't it? I honestly believe it is because all you have been going through with moving. Moving is very stressful. I have been packing stuff and we re-decorated our living room and we have been at it for the last four days and I have to remind myself to feed myself, not so much for me but for my little baby as well. Even if you can keep a protein drink on hand would be great. You don't want to wonder why you feel so dizzy and pass out. Hopefully you will pick back up on your routine of getting all your protein in.

Default 5 months

Hi --

I am now 5 months out and have very little appetite. I really have to force myself to stop one of the 5 million things I'm doing (that's a good thing...I'm not a recliner lump anymore!) and eat. Sometimes I feel like it just takes so damn long to get enough in to matter...then why bother? But...I make sure not to miss meals. And if I'm really not wanting to eat, I have one of my yummy meal replacement, ultra healthy shakes. At least then I know I've taken care of myself.
