Erik's (aka Largepkg) Newb thread
Hello to everyone on the board.
My name is Erik. I had gastric bypass surgery on June 9, 2003. My pre surgery weight was 389lbs, and I'm 6'4''. To date I'm @ 236lbs @ 13 % body fat. I initially got down to 210lbs, but discovered weight lifting again. I've put on a lot of lean body mass since.
I love talking about my experiences with the surgery so please don't hesitate to ask questions.

Erik,
Congratulations on your wonderful success. It feels great doesn't it? I am only 3.5 months out but have lost 88 lbs so far. Welcome to the forum. If it wasn't for this forum and all the wonderful friends I've made, I wouldn't have made it this far and retained my sanity!

I have a question - the muscle that you've put on, has it made a difference in terms of your skin? I know that we'll always have loose skin, but I'm hoping that continued weight training and yoga will sculpt my body into something that I'm happy with... Thanks!
