Default Keep Irela in your prayers

I am getting ready to take Irela to the hospital for surgery. She is supposed to check in at 5:30 this morning for surgery (a female type surgery) She is supposed to be able to leave the hospital on saturday evening if all goes well(and I know it will be fine.) I just always get nervous when she has any kind of surgery. So if you will all keep us in your prayers and thoughts today I would appreciate it.

We will be at sharp chula vista.

Bill

Default Irela

Well I do have a bit of an update. It is early sunday morning. I cant sleep because my girl is not here with me. She is doing well. She was up moving around today at the hospital. She should be out either sunday evening or tomorrow evening. They said the surgery went well she is just a little slow recovering. She is feisty as usual and feeling upbeat. Once I get the kids off to church I am headed back up to the hospital. Thank you all for you thoughts and prayers.

Default I'm back

Thank you all for my prayers and I have to apologize for my grammatical errors from the beginning. I had a hysterectomy on Friday morning. With all the pain med's I'm on for my other conditions, (neck-bulge in disk and 2 cysts on my spine), and my migraines, my OB/GYN sent me home witha prescription of "dilaudid" for the pain along a bunch of other stuff to help my stomach not be so achy and bloated. My blood pressure got pretty low and at times I heard my nurse say my name and then say that I was only breathing like 13 beats per "something". I don't think she meant per minute. My BP got as low as like 57/34. They said it had to do with the medication drip in the i.v. and for me to only press the button when I really need it. Hello??? I was only pressing it when I needed it. Anyway, because I was anemic when I came in, they were able to give me my own blood back that I donated a few weeks ago. It was nice to have that not go to waste.

I have wonderful help at home with the kids and of course with Bill who is taking extra good care of me. I now have to go back to bed, but wanted to update you all. Thank you for your continued prayers for our family. I have a follow up appointment on Wednesday. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thank you all again!
