Thank you so much for sharing your story Dwayne. I know how hard it can be. But now that it's out there... you can start to let it go. The one thing I know for sure in life, we can not control how other people treat us. We can't control their words or actions towards us, we can only control how WE react. You've been through so much, but taken really proactive steps to heal yourself... mind and body. You can do this, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, your own inner light, and it shines for the rest of us, you're an inspiration.

Thank you for telling your story! I'm glad you feel comfortable enough to share so much with us. Take it one day at a time! Your life is worth living! It is so hard dealing with the loss of a parent and even worse living with the emotional scars of an abusive step parent. I know because I've been through both. PM me anytime if you need or want to talk about anything at all. Hang in there! big healing hugs coming your way!

Dwayne,
Wow, you,ve been through so much and during parts of your story, I was so mad!! How could someone treat you that way? You were an innocent child. I too was abused as a child and our spirits were crushed. But you know what, I believe thats what made us very stong, compassionate, and perserverant people.
Im glad you shared your story with us and we are here for you.
