Isn't it wonderful when the Earth reopens in the Spring, and all the dormant plants re-emerge with all their attendant bloomage and fragrance? It's your reward for making it through another winter. And here we are--2 years out from your hyper-scary health stuff.
Don't do that again, okay? You had this entire forum flocking to their places of worship, leaving an entire continent of people emotionally bereft, at a loss as to how to be, what to do, without our beautiful Lisa to guide them! .....
Boy, that was a scary time, wasn't it?
Have things been progressing smoothly with your family issues? The dismantling of a long standing family system is never uneventful, I kind of think smoothly is about as good as it gets. Have you reevaluated where you'll live, whether you'll remain 'out in the bush' or whether you'll 'move to town'?
My wish for you is a drama-free transition with you and Bernie being able to keep Andrea's needs at the forefront...but I'm sure you already do that!
Take care, Lisa, and thanks for keeping us up to date,
Love,
Donna

Well its been a while since I updated...and no news is usually good news right?
I am holding weight, (up 2-5 pounds from normal) although I don't seem to be as tight (yes, I am talking my belly) as I was right after my tummy was done...thus the need for more exercise!
Food - pretty much anything goes, and so I have to watch my carbs and certainly anytime I have calories without good food quality, I have to make sure they are few and far between.
I am officially separated from my husband now. He left the house March 12 and I have not spoken to him since then (long story). But I am doing fine. It was pretty emotional at first, but I am used to it being just me, my daughter and the 2 pets. Summer is always a little easier with the good weather, but I have found fun outdoor chores to do like mowing the lawn, weeding the garden, growing veggies, tending plants and the ever popular week wacking...and I actually do love it all! I was never allowed to be a part of the yard so its all new to me. I even tried pruning the trees, but I wouldn't say I am good at it!
A girl from my town was just approved for surgery with Nohr, so I very pleased to be there for her (although she has moved) I will do the email thing to keep in touch.
Sounds like my other Nohr girls are doing well, as this is great!

Lisa,
I have been missing you and your gentle ways here on the forum. I'm so happy to see you posting. I'm sorry about the turbulence in your personal life, but as many times before, you handle it with strength and dignity, which is what makes you such a remarkable woman. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope we get to see you again soon! I think a lot of the newer people on the forum could learn a lot from your chronicle. I wish you tender love, health, abundance and peace, my friend.

Hey Lisa..... hubby, me, and my dad drove through Chetwynd on June 30th and I thought of you. Dad took us up to Hudson's Hope to see the dam. Man, is that dam ever amazing!!!! We went on a tour of it as well.
I, too, have been approved for surgery with Dr Nohr, and my surgery date is slated for April 26, 2010. I will be calling in for cancellations like I did with my consult date. I'm crossing my fingers that surgery will be done by the end of this year.
Glad that you're getting along well in life.
All the best to you.
*hugs*
Lori

September 1
Well, this is me today. Not much has changed in the past year with my body. Wearing a size 8/10 bottom and a medium shirt, weight at 156 this morning! Rain, I will have to take some of my bare belly for you to show you the scar lines....mine didn't lighten up as much as yours, but considering what I went through, I will take them!
My goal now is to kick butt on the bike.....firm up the body as it gets older!

Beautiful! Simply beautiful. I figured out who you remind me of, finally. Kelly McGillis!
I didn't know that Lynda lives 1 hour away from Disneyland.....sounds like a good staging area for a caravan of TTers that fit in all the seats, if you ask me....
