Can't blame you for all the nerves and emotions Lisa. You'll do great.
I'll be there too. I will get in touch with Carrie and Samm and make arrangements. I am getting very excited for this get together.

Wow, first asthma attack in a long time occured today. Pre-op I was taking Singulair for my asthma induced allergies. I used my puffer a few times after surgery and went off the singulair last summer. Tonight on my walk I started to wheeze and had to do everything in my power to get home and find my puffer. All the dandilions and flowers and trees are out and I guess it finally got to me. Every spring since I was a teen, I had issues with my environmental allergies...now loosing so much weight it totally changed my breathing for the better. I had a few issues early this spring with the snow molds, but this was an all out attack.
I am fine now - although it feels like a elephant sat on my chest. Puffer will be going everywhere with me for a while...glad to figure this out this week before I go for surgery next week.
Just one more reminder of how far I have come since surgery. I forgot how bad it was before and SO thankful for this gift I have been given!

I imagine you will really have to suck your inspiration spirometer a lot. Suck on! Not being able to breathe is something medical personnel get really aggravated about.
I'm so glad that this serves as a poignant reminder of where you used to be, and then could be banished due to your current health. I have every reason to believe that you will sail right through this chapter in your story, and with those long legs and bedroom eyes, you will earn many many Hottie Points.

Lisa, I'm counting down the days. I'm so excited for you!...but as you...kind of nervous for you too. I guess I'm just living vicariously through you right now. Glad you are going first so you can assure me in about 6 weeks that everything is going to be fine.

Beth, well if you are living through me, get valium for the week before surgery. I have had wicked dreams this week from hollering in my sleep to visiting the morgue and chatting with a whole bunch of people, both living and dead. My grandma who died 2 1/2 years ago was there giving me heck in dutch. I haven't slept for 3 nights (well on and off all night) and going to the bathroom almost every hour. I don't dream about the surgery, but all sorts of other crazy things. Maybe my body is getting ready to rest in the hospital for a week - who knows, but when Saturday comes, I will be happy to get on the plane.
I even am dreaming about setting off the security alarm at the airport due to all my staples and them not believing me and think I am hiding drugs in my belly and pouch...
........and they are going to give me morphene next week!!! Watch out hospital staff.
Samm, Carrie and Tawna are going to see a crazy side of me on Sunday when we all meet...that I am very very excited to meet them all.
Enough ramblings from a crazy woman!
