Thanks Lisa for posting your story. I just sat down and read the whole thing. It was a real inspiration for me. I had a bad night last night and a bad morning regarding weight loss and this really helped me to read. It is great to see where people where, their thoughts along the way and where they are now.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Angie, so glad my story helped you. I go back and read things and its sounds like a crazy woman! It really is an emotional roller coaster...but its real, so if that helps others...its well worth it.

Still holding around the 170 mark. Last night I freaked when I got on the scale and was up 4 pounds. I haven't done the "bathroom" thing for 3 days now, so chalked it up to that...got on the scale this morning and down the 4 pounds, so it was all the fluids...shouldn't get on the scale at night, but walked past it and thought - why not...I now know WHY NOT!

I am feeling a little better after fighting this flu bug for the past 10 days. The first 4 days were really rough, now its just the cold part. I can finally taste food again - good thing. Very, very thirsty these past days, not sure why, so I drink more.

Blood Pressure is still 80/60 and heart rate at 45. I have to do blood work again, but wanted to get over this cold thing first.

Being home for 2 weeks, I find myself not exercising as much. Busy running the daugher to skating, we went scuba diving together yesterday at the pool and trying to get caught up on the scrapbooking and hope to sew a little before going back to work on Monday. Good quality family time.

I have a few spring/summer clothes, if that season every arrives. Nice to be able to buy some clothes now that I have somewhat stabilized. Lesson learned....buy a bathing suit with cup support...OMG!~

Just wanted to post a little update for everyone. Life is good!

Even with the surgery we will battle that scale for the rest of our lives. Stupid scale!!!!!

Sorry to hear you have been down with the flu not a fun thing. Had my turn a month ago. Yuck!!!!!

Is the snow starting to melt at all up there? We are finally rid of it here but then we don't get near the snow that you do. We just really fight the cold here. Some days I think I would rather have the snow than the really really cold temperatures.

Days seem to be easier to handle now that the sun is up earlier too. Putting the kids on the bus in the dark gets quite old.

Despite the flu scrapbooking and spending time with your daughter, sounds like an enjoyable time.

Here's to a wonderful spring!!!!!

SNOW.........SNOW and more snow ! Had blizzard today and had to drive in it. The snow is so high that I you can't see the van back out of the driveway........and this is SPRING!!!! NOT! The wind has picked up big time and the drifting snow is unreal. We were going to go skiing, but the road are so bad..... more inside things I think.

My podmate (with Nohr) just booked her panni.....wouldn't it be crazy if I could get the same day......doing it together again! She is great and to go through this with her again....even better.

What a crazy 10 minutes it has been!!!

I am sitting on the computer adding in custom foods into fitday, with a lap full of food to enter in, and the phone rings. Its the plastic surgeons office with a new date for my consult - Its June 12th in Canmore Alberta, then just as I hang up, the cell phone rings in my purse. Run down the hall and its my surgeons office calling to set up a phone consult for a panni...March 28 at Noon the call will come and discuss things with surgeon and set surgery date.

Now the delemma....My surgeon does the "t" or anchor cut, its all covered by insurance. He does some muscle tightening with the surgery, but the scars, well you have seen the recent postings....quite drastic.

The Plastic Surgeon consult probably won't happen until AFTER the panni surgery, and there is a good chance the tummy won't be covered by insurance with him, but the scars would be less (I don't want to pay for this surgery)....he will though most likely do a breast lift, reduction covered under the medical.

So I guess the path is set for me to have the panni with my surgeon, live with the scars and then go to the consult for the breasts.

At least I have time to ponder all this!

SAMM - I am aiming for MAY if I can..the week you have surgery.......we can walk the halls together! Oh wouldn't that be fun!!
