Thanks everyone. I needed that! You know when I was 300lbs+, I couldn't see myself like I was (I saw a much thinner me). I saw and still see old pics and its very strange to me. Now I look in the mirror, I like what I see with clothes on (ones that cover!), but why is it that we focus on the things we don't like. I have always liked my arms and legs...now I see skin. My tummy is ok, not as bad as I thought - is there a trade off? I can have my tummy done under my insurance, not the arms and legs. Oh well.

Thanks again for the compliments.............sometimes you just need to hear it!

They are all deserved, dear heart. You grow more beautiful with every photo I see of you--your husband, on the other hand, has obviously been driven insane by your beauty. What a great picture!

Leanne! I missed you girl and wondering how you were doing. I am heading down your way in Jan (Metrotown Hillton) for a course on Jan 24-27.

Thanks for the comments.....Yes I am doing pretty good. 10 pounds to go to hit the goal and its a struggle getting there, but I will. Maybe eating more over the holidays will actually HELP me as I am struggling to get in enough food right now for some reason...using protein bars and drinks to supplement...don't feel much like eating....never in my life would I have dreamed that I would be saying this!!!

Hope to see you more on the boards

PS: have my NEW Size 14, low rise jeans on this morning (girl jeans!) and they fit just great! Yippeee!

I have been working my butt off at 3 jobs trying to save money to buy our house!!! Hopefully we will be moving in around April.

That last 10lbs is the hardest huh? I also struggle to get enough food. I have been really bad lately and have been eating like sh*t. I need to get back to basics and go for the protein not the carbs.

Congrats on the size 14's!! Keep up the great work!!!

You are doing so amazing Lisa. Hold your head high and be proud of what you have accomplished.

I think your wonderful upbeat and positive attitude has been what has drawn so many of us to your story. You are such an inspiration to those who have had the surgery but especially for those of us who are beginning this journey.

Keep up the good work Lisa and you will be to goal before and probably past before you know it. Have a great holiday with your daughter and that naughty rudolph of yours.

Hey Lisa I called and talked to Michelle (at Dr. Nohr's office) on tuesday and she took down my name to call. She said that I can still keep calling every tuesday but I'm hoping that it is a good sign that she took down my name and number. Here's crossing my fingers and toes that I might have taken a baby step forward.

Have a great Christmas!

Tawna, not to get your hopes up, but thats what happened to me. Usually means that she was given notice by someone that they might not make their appointment, thus she could call you! My fingers and toes are crossed for ya girl......If you get a date, I'll be SO EXCITED for you!!!!

Happy Holidays to you too...I won't be too far from you...in Meadow Lake!
