Thanks everyone!!!

It feels so great.. I am also psyched about loosing weight while on vacation. But I think I did fairly well on my food choices. Of course having to go out to eat at all points of the day is challenging, but easily done. For example, I went to one place to eat for breakfast it was called Sizzlin Grill (or something like that) and it was a $3.99 breakfast buffet. Yeah I know the dreaded Buffet word. But it was cheaper than going to a sit down place and I easily picked the better food choices.

I would get some scrambled eggs with some meat like ham steak and stuff like that. I made it a point to get the protein (higher) foods in first. But I will admit that I had a little bite of biscuits and gravy..

Socal, I'm also with you. I also had to stop smoking and soda prior to surgery. I stopped the soda and instantly lost 3-4 lbs.. The smoking was really easy as well. I also used Chantix and it worked well. But with just the smoking gone I felt alot better. Now with the weight going down I feel so damn good. It's a whole new life for me and it feels great.
