Default A new me in the making!

In a week I'll be going under the knife once again to get all nipped and tucked. I'm a bit more nervous with this surgery than ever was with WLS. There's so much more post-op stuff to think about. I'll have drains sticking out for 2 weeks. I have to sleep on my back, propped with pillows and have my feet up too. I'm thinking I may need a hospital bed! I have to walk slightly hunched over and have the steri-strips on for a month. Be very careful of getting out of chairs. No riding in cars, good thing I have a SUV. Then there's the binder for my boobs and my belly for months. Plus ice for the swelling for 3 days. Antibiotics for 2 weeks. Cough and deep breathe. Get to look forward to the hair falling out again . I go in thursday. Discharge friday, then back on saturday for first post-op appointment. Is there a Ritz nearby????? I'm a bit afraid of having any sutures pop open. I'll have a couple hundred sutures to keep track of. I certainly hope I have a fast recovery like I did with WLS.

Good luck with everything. Just think of how great you are going to look when everything is done. If you need anything let me know. I will be happy to help you any way that I can.

Marie,

Just know that you are in good hands and you will do just fine. The hunchback walk isn't so bad and the breasts are even easier. You are gonna have a whole new skinny, little bod! I am sure you are so excited and anxious. I can relate to how you are feeling.

Default Marie!

You're in good hands and I'm sure you'll recover just fine. God speed on the recovery and may it be totally uneventful!

I'm also glad just to get away from work for a few weeks. I'm working way too hard. Perhaps I'll become an erotic dancer or a Hooter's girl instead

Marie,

What all are you having done? I am sure you will look fabulous when all is done!!!

I pray you will have peace through this journey and that the discomfort is forgetable and insignificant!!
