It does feel great. 54 lbs is nothing to shy away from. Your doing great as well. I really focus on protien and staying busy. I just dont' think that much about it and just go, go, go. I try not to sit still long and stay busy as much as possible. I'm about 6' so, we're close in range. Keep up the good work. I'm sure I'll slow down soon and you will blow right past me. God Bless!

Thumbs up Wow!!!

What an insperation. I'm only 1 week post op and can't wait to see the progress of all the hard work. I'm still on liquids and I'm getting so tired of it. I can't wait until next week when I switch to soft foods. I too have done this for my health, I have high cholesterol, high bp, sleep apnea, PCOS, hypothyroidism, ect... I can't wait to start getting off of some of these meds.

CONGRATS!!!!!

Foxyfuzz, your just jealous your not me. No, seriously my heart goes out to you ladies who have to wait a little longer to see the results. You are doing great and inspire me everytime you post pics. Keep going, but keep checking your rear view mirror because Bama's on the move.

fostermk,

It wasn't long until I was in your shoes. Just stick to it. Do as your told and before long you will blow my socks off. If there's anything i can do to help you, encourage you, kick your butt, just shoot me a pm. Be glad to help. Rock on!

Yesterday was my 4 month anniversary and all total I'm down 85 lbs. I feel so much better and have more confidence, etc... I'm down from a 44/46 pants to a 38 and from a 3xl shirt to in between a large and xtra large.

Looking back 4 months ago I would have never dreamed of being where I am today. It's amazing how this thing works. I'm so grateful that I had this done. The only trouble I have is when I don't eat what I'm suppose to and make bad food choices. Speaking of food choices....

I have found myself go back to some old habits...namely grazing late at night. I know I make atleast 10 trips to the kitchen after 8-9 pm. Luckily we don't have much junk food and I usually end up grabbing a piece of cheese, but none the less, I'm still grazing. The problem is definetly between my ears and not my stomach.

The other battle I face is with Diet Pepsi. I know people have different rules about this but for me I can have them as long as I let the go "flat" first. This is been a real struggle for me. I have started drinking them and can definetly tell the difference in my eating habits and attitudes. I made the decision last night to stop and dumped a brand new 2 liter down the drain but i know it's gonna be a struggle. Once again, thanks to everyone who has been an encouragement to me along the way.
