I had my 10 day check up with Dr. Hata today. He said everything was looking good and he gave me a full release. No lifting restrictions or anything. He explained that the way he performs his surgery it doesn't require deep muscle stitches. It was so nice to be able to hold lilly today and play with her.

Friday I transition to soft foods and basically back to normal. I have been weighing myself daily, which I know is a bad idea. I am at 289 which is the lowest I got too on diets. I'm frustrated I can't break that 289 mark. It's been that way for about 3 days now.

Since starting my liquids I have lost almost 30 lbs. and the most impressive number is my bp- 117/56. I usually take 2 pills in the morning and they told me to cut back to 1. I was so glad to hear that. My first goal is to get off my bp meds and I'm half way there. AWSOME!

It's good to learn the lesson from this, but don't beat yourself up too much about it...we've all done it at some point.

Most of us have tested our limits, not all. I know I have. Remember how bad you felt for that hour or two. Its a life lesson. I still have a problem eating too fast and every once in awhile I have to throw up.Thats not dumping but it is unpleasant. Ive mastered most everything but eating slowly. Best of luck bud youre doin great! ...Sco

Well, as a glutton for punishment I decided to weigh myself this morning. To my wonderful suprise I had flown by that old 289 barrier- DRUM ROLL- 281lbs. That's just awsome. Praise the Lord!

I have gotten off the scale everyday and weighed in tuesday. I finally broke my stall and lost 5 lbs. Down to 277 which is my lowest ever as a adult. Total of 40 lbs so far. I'm stoked. Had to go to the thrift store today to get some more clothes.
