Take your time with this guy, he seems to be sweet. If he's into you, he'll call, if not he won't . So, he's called and that's a bonus. Perhaps you maybe a lil burnt from your past experiences? If so, try to change your thinking a little, it will be worth it I promise. Put the good vibrations out in the universe and use that power of attraction. (god I sounded like a nut)

Isnt it nice to be in the drivers seat for a change? Have you made your "getting into the pants rule" yet? That is the amount of time of dating prior to intimacy, yes "getting into your pants" is a little harsh, but it is reality!!
This is the time that YOU decide it takes to move to the "closing of the deal", Im ashamed that I could talk about this, since I am a MAN..and closing the deal on the first date is cool, but not if your looking for anything serious, or long term, even if its just as a good friend, or even a "friend with benefits", the main line is that YOU have control, of when, where, and how you make the move, and its kinda nice aint it??
Accept it or not, (it is hard for many of us former fatties) YOU ARE ONE GOOD LOOKING GIRL!! You are also in the drivers seat, take your time with these guys, but most important, even if the guy is not the perfect guy you dream of, give it time, and stay on control of the dating situation.
Side note, dont be afraid to tell these guys what you want, like and dislike, make it easy for them to understand who you are, and if the topic of conversation is sex within the first few dates, move on, his intentions are not what you need for a relationship, but again, tell them, men are basically stupid, and mostly clueless, so tell them...if you want to be kissed on the first date, move that into conversation, but let him know that a kiss is good, making out and spittin all over each other is not good...until the second date!! lol(damn, I cant believe Im saying this!!

I can not believe you risked loosing your man card like that. Your only hope now is to plead insanity. Luckily there are some previous post to reference to support your claim :-P

Hey, about the Man Card, seriously, ummmm, us women know what you're all up to. You all have to pretend your jerks to each other, even if you're gentleman and do happen to deny your basic instincts to get into a woman's pants. Who do you think you're fooling with the Man Card, huh? I think too many of you lost them on the sidewalk and us girls picked them up and know all of your tricks that are written in blood/semen on your Man Card. All we need is one of those UV lights to read 'em!

I have decided, after some thought, that the reason why I'm a little wary of Brandon is because, for once, he may be more of an equal and what I'm looking for than I have ever come across before. And well, that scares the absolute shit out of me! The fact that this could build into something meaningful and that he could be my equal is a very interesting concept. One that I've longed for for a long time. So, I think I'm just scared...

So Brandon emailed me yesterday and asked if we could do something on Sunday and take advantage of nice weather (hopefully it will be nice). He suggested going to the zoo, a park, or a museum (i guess if it rains). I guess I'm getting more excited about him. I just checked the weather and there's a 40% chance of rain...blah! Oh well, we will just have a few options lined up.
I think I'm at most "on guard" with Brandon because I am used to running into red flags by now that normally I choose to ignore. I don't have to do that so far with him, and so it's just different. It just seems like a normal dating/getting to know you experience.

Also, today I'm wearing my dress - the one I posted a pic of. I've gotten quite a few compliments already. I feel comfy in it, too, which is a plus. I don't feel all "formal" in it.
