I cheated death again...
It is an expression I use after every successful landing. Seems appropriate here as well.
Back at home, sip sip sipping, and tomorrow I walk. I do feel like a truck ran over me. Unapologetically passing gas from both appropriate orifices, but no poo yet. Didnt realize my stomach would be distended further Post op than Pre-op.
Thanks again everyone for all your support

Hey! Welcome back, Aviator! It's good to hear from you!
I remember those first two weeks were rough for me with regard to getting enough water in, so it's good to hear you're remembering to get your fluids in.
And yes, I can definitely identify with feeling like being hit by a truck... each day should get a little bit better, though. You'll be feeling back to your normal self in no time.
It's good to have you back posting again!

Aviator
I am glad to hear that you are back and did well. The first weeks was the hardest for me, now it is going well. They sure call it hell week for a reason!
Sip sip sip, you may have to retrain your mouth as to what is an acceptable amout of sipping. I am still having to remember that.
I completely understand wanting to keep this secret, a secret as I am doing the same thing.
I can not wait to see you as you progress, it is a great feeling to see that needle on the scale going down.
Happy New Year wishes to you!

Hey Aviator, welcome back! I'm so glad that you made it through and that you are doing well. After almost four weeks I still have a hard time getting enough fluids in each day.
As everyone has said, each day will get easier and you'll feel better. Just keep walking.
Glad all is well,

It is good to be back
Here I am just over 48 hours post op, and I feel like my belly is twice the size, even as my stomach (or sleeve) is actually a fraction of its original size. I've decided to name it "Nubbin". *whispers* That way Bones and I can speak about it in code.
Stepped on the scale this morning and Im down 12 lbs. 298. Yikes! Twotervlle in two days!
Hey, where do I get one of those cool tickers anyway?
Thanks again to all for the wonderful support.

Hey old man, sounds like your on your way, hurry up, I need someone to fly my "Now not so fat ass!" down to Loreto (Baja, not Texas)!!
Ive got a couple of drunk "donut dollies" headed your way, so hang on amigo!!
They may be a little sober by the time they get there, but it doesnt take much to re light the fuse!!
Here is the ticker factory link, once you get past some of the questions like this one on the front page Why do I have eggwhite cervical fluid after I have already ovulated? you can make your own ticker, this site is geared towards the females (unless your a guy with eggwhite fluid...YUK, not before breakfast!!), but there are some cool tickers you can make.....
Try this one...
I cut and paste it to my photo browser, and paste it like a picture using the little mountain icon at the top of the page.
