I am forced to pay for gastric bypass because my insurance says there is nothing wrong with me. I found a surgeon that has awesome reviews but they don't accept care credit. Does anyone know a surgeon in Southern California that accepts care credit and performes gastric bypass?
Please help. I am so desperate at this point.

I don't have any co morbidities. I have Kaiser. My insurance covers the surgery but my BMI has to be 50 and my BMI is ONLY 44. My doctor says I should just work out more. I have been fighting for months with my insurance. I finally decided it's worth me paying for the next five years. I want this so bad. This is not about fitting in a bikini it's about being healthy and able to have a life not trapped in this body. I am so frustrated.

I spoke with Dede from Dr. Leport's office today and the cash price there is over $24,000. I am tired of crying but I really can't afford the payments on that. They are $6,000 more expensive than anyone else and they want the money upfront. I just want to curl up and sleep for a long time. I am so frustrated.
