Hi ya .
I did return ya pm ...
I think u have to look at what foods your consuming, and are u doing enough exercise .
The band is only a tool , which will help u feel less hungry and quicker satiety .
And as we know some bad foods slip down so easy with the band , Can u call brussels and ask them for a diet plan ?
Im sure after £4000 they could help u out with one .
If u consume foods that are high in fat & sugar eg: ice cream, cake, chocolate, milk shakes etc or high calorie crunchy foods like crisps biscuits etc ...your band will allow these foods through quickly, u will not feel full and be tempted to consume larger quantities.
This will prevent weight loss & lead to gain

For you band to work effectively , food needs to be of a 'drier' consistency , firmer rather than soft textured foods with less sauce or gravy, with drier foods the appropriate quantity of food should fit in the palm of your hand and this will keep u feeling full for longer ,
GUIDELINES TO FOLLOW
Aim to have 3 small meals a day
No snacking inbetween
Always eat small quantities , your main meal should fit on a 7 inch side plate and be composed of foods in the following proportions .
Approx one quarter protein (eg: meat poultry , fish & pulses)
One quarter starchy (potato , pasta , rice , bread) and one half vegetables .
Make sure that all drinks are low cal or no cals .
Drink frequently up to 15 mins before your meal and try and leave 2 hours after your meal before drinking, again this will make u feel fuller for longer .
Avoid fizzy drinks
Always eat and drink slowly without gulping and stop before u are full (it takes time for the brain to register a feeling of fullness, if u eat too quickly you may have already passed the point of fullness and u will suffer discomfort and regurgitation .
Take at least 20 mins per meal
Im not sure if this helps u , also if u carnt tolerate normal foods I think your band maybe filled too much .
Let me know how u get on
Best Regards
