Default I'm new!!

Hi everyone!

This is the first time for me to post. I'm scheduled for surgery on Friday, June 3, 2005. I am soooo nervous and scared as this is my first surgery. The following day after surgery, June 4th is my 50th birthday . I'm a single Mom and have a daughter (my buddy) and her birthday is on the 6th of June.
My birthday wish for both of us is "My new life".
Please wish me luck and keep me in your prayers that I will make it thru.

Thanks!!!

Welcome to our little family. What a wonderful birthday present you are about to recieve.....a new life. If you weren't scared and nervous I would be worried! This is a perfectly normal reaction and to be expected. I wish you the best, a speedy recovery. Please keep us posted on how you are doing. If you have any questions or concerns post it and you will get more info and support than you could wish for. Remember, the only dumb question is the one that is not asked!

Hi. This is my first day on the site as well. SO glad I found it. I am scheduled for surgery on June 20th. I am a teacher and waiting for summer vacation. Aren't you excited about the possiblity of being thin and healthy? I can hardly wait. I hear the first 4-6 weeks are the worst for pain and discomfort but from what I've heard the weight falls off during this period to offset the negatives. Good luck. Have you started any kind of liquid diet plan yet?

Take care. KellyB
