well today after i drank my "bulking up" fiber, i had a hot starbucks coffee and was cool until 3 hours later. I think i am in the same boat i think its caffeine not my moldy coffee after all. I'm so bummed because i NEED caffeine i have quit so many things smoking, drugs, junk food, had GBS surgery and now i may have to give up my 1 and only vice in this world. I am so sad. Really I'm sad about this and torn too. My Lord i cant catch a break just 1 friggin cup of coffee to perk me up and make me get going in the morning
i'm not sure i can do it. I will try to cut down from 2 cups to only 1 cup and pray that will help. Still I did buy a little 4 cup brewer today sans the mold haha

well today and yesterday i'm recommiting myself to a better way of eating. for a snack i had 1/2 and apple with a smidge of peanut butter, ate a meal of melted cheese on a serving of deli ham, another snack of 1 cup of popcorn. WOW i'm in a carb withdrawl but i really feel better. I felt so mad this morning after waking up and my skirt was tight again i hope thats just because i washed and dried it and NOT because i'm getting big again. And the apple snack was yesterday. when i get alittle hungry later i will have an 1/2 of cucumber with some light balsalmic berry vinagarette. and i've already had 30 oz of drink and its 130pm so i'm off to fill my 64oz bottle and drink that for a total of 94 oz that day. which included my 35g of protein drink this morning.

Yeah i think getting back to the basics is called for and we shall see if it moves this monday. honestly i didnt excersize yet this week nor last week because of the blues so i gotta jump back on that horse And i thank John and Gina for opening my eyes about what should be done

Sounds like you are on the right track with your eating, just wanted to point out with me the popcorn bloats the hell out of me so keep a watch on it. It swells my tummy up like nobody's business. Good luck girl I am rooting for you.

today is 10/11 and i'm on day 2 of the 5 day pouch test with NO cheating and its working i peeked at the scale and thus far i've lost the 2 pounds i've gained over the last 4 weeks. And its working on the cravings this time. and i think that i will alternate my days after the end of this test and really try to do more protein shakes and stuff and my plan of not buying crappy food for the kids is working great! they discovered they like cucumbers with some ranch on it and they devour grapes! i must say i'm alittle -itchy right now because i feel like i'm going thru bad carb withdrawls truthfully i am. but this will pass. I am also going to try this other plan that my girl here on TT is hooking me up with. I'm actually really excited about this and she is the MOST supportive person with sometimes a harsh but tender word and has been successful so i'm all hers for the whoopin' My bm issues were bad today before i could drink my fiber so i have resolved to just make sure to try to get that shake in before i leave the house period! And i gotta say that my 6 year old son was mad at me just now and mocking me saying "mom poops on herself" which started the little one to follow suit. That just made me really sad as i have no control over it and they are witnesses to that. My soon to be ex is coming back to Phx tonight after working in vegas for almost 2 months and let me say that i'm SO excited to pawn the kids off on him! i told him that he owes me 1 month of weekends with his kids because he screwed me by not being here! Well i think thats about it for today

well tuesday i'm starting a new program in eating program. I wont openly divulge what it is, but someone here recommended this program and i'm SO excited to start it. I need more structure which has always been my problem always. no schedule, no meal plan just whatever. Sure some are lucky in that they still loose weight that way but not me, not Deborah! Tomorrow i will resume my working out after a 3 week hiatis and pray that i continue with that and the joy of excersizing resumes as well. I have had a rotten cold / cough/ congestion for over a week now and its really bugging me. I tried climbing stairs and was out of breath cause of that. I'm not really thrilled with the scale numbers this week because it looks like of the 5 pounds i lost i may have regained 2 of them. I'm sure its because of the fact that 5dpt the 1st two days i was only doing liquids but thats ok i'm "ok" with it. I finally went thru my closet and was SO saddened to toss a ton of big fat clothes including some that i got only about 5 months ago. My daughter told me NOT to wear a church suit it did look utterly riddiculous and just hanged on me like a sackcloth. I'm hoping that this week brings me a new attitude about this whole RNY crap and that when my parents arrive they see that i am working my tool and my tool doesnt work me (cause that aint worked in months) just a rant there! I'm still basically avoiding the carbs (crackers and chips) and i'm proud of myself for that. Although today i admit i had a few onion rings with the special Pete's Fish n Chips sauce, but got full after the 4th one. Funny because i used to order a large and eat the entire basket of deep fried really large rings haha!

Deb Sweetie:

Do what you gotta do.

I think keeping a food journal is good because I REALLY get the good feeling from starting all over every day. Each day is a new day. I keep track of calories, carbs and proteins. That's all. (and what I ate) If I blew it one day, I get to start over the next day.

I get rid of clothes every couple weeks - take them to a consignment store and get money for them. It's not a lot, but at least I get something! I get my "new" ones at the same store. But, it's a plus store, so I can't get much there any more. Now I can shop a regular thrift store. But it is hard to find dresses or suits there.

I have been stuck at my present weight for quite awhile now - I think about 3 weeks. I walk more, exercise more. But still............

Don't be discouraged. We are all pulling for you.

Hi Deb,

I keep a food journal also--I keep track of calories, fat, carbs and protein. I keep it to keep me on track because I have to eat between 600-800 calories and 60-80 grams of protein so unless I keep track I eat way less than I should. I also track my water intake.
