Deb~
Cassie put them in a little ziplock bag and then dropped that in a yellow, puffy envelope. I don't want you going to all kinds of trouble now, mkay? I ate one of the chocolate calcium chewable vitamins and almost barfed...it did not go well...lol...sorry Cassie! The other Flinstone-looking vitamins that she sent taste just like I thought they would, like Flinstone vitamins, so that's cool.

Girl, there's no way I can get that much protein in...I can't stand yogurt, cottage cheese, and I can barely get a protein shake down....ugh.

Mcg-micrograms. In other words, 1000mgc=1gr, 5000mcg=5gr.

I hope you find your path soon, luv. You've been having a tough go of it...

Hey M, I am sorry that you did not like the chocolate calcium, back to square one I guess. Keep searching I am sure you will find one you can tolerate eventually. ALso I know Deborah was blasting the use of the Flintstone vitamins but my surgeon approves these for use. Him and the nut said if I eat properly that taking these will give me all I need. And also I get my labs done every three months and they are always perfect. I guess the flintstones are one of many things the difference is doctors come into play on. Please try to find some supplements you can tolerate they play a huge part in how you feel and how your loss will progress.

My "baby" vitamins have kept me healthy thus far so that is what I will continue to do. The way I look at it is if that is what she or anyone can get down it is better then nothing at all.

Hey Cassie....were the fruity vitamins (that look like Flinstones), Bariatric Advantage? Because I feel better buying them from a website that is geared towards weight loss patients, rather than buying Flinstone vitamins from the drugstore, yanno? And you're right...if I can get it down, it's better than nothing and I soooo appreciate all the trouble you went through to send them. Thank you again.
I just hate that I'm in love with the Viactiv calcium carbonate chews but have to stop taking them and look for calcium citrate. That sucks. I feel like I'm not settled on anything that I need, yanno? Can't find a multi that I can tolerate...can't find a calcium vitamin that I like....and can't find a protein shake that I don't have to choke down.
I'm still struggling with coming up with a great concoction for a protein shake. I thought I created something brilliant yesterday (in the nutrition thread) but it was so rich that I could only get down about 6 oz. of it. I added hazelnut creamer to the vanilla "whey" protein from Walmart and it knocked out that nasty protein taste so I thought I had hit the motherload..lol But then it started getting too rich and my icecubes kept melting so I had to drink more and more of it to get it down and then I just coudn't do it anymore. UGH this is so hard!! I can't believe I have to do this for the rest of my life! Daily!! Grrrrrr....

No they are just the Target brand childrens chewables. I happen to like the taste of them a little better and they are a few dollars cheaper. Good luck
