I sent you some of the Bariatric Advantage chocolate calcium chews, I would assume the multivitamin would have a similar taste. I take the two flinstones everyday. Actually the last bottle I got were the target brand and they have a more fruity taste. I sent you some of those as well. My Biotin is just regular not super powered. I take one a day at 1000 mcg. Don't know what the heck a mcg is but I would think if yours is 5000 you would be getting plenty.

dont make me yell at you with those sad little fred flinstone vitamins FOR KIDS! yeah you let me know how you like that vitamin cassie sent you i can send you like 3 of my mixed berry multi vitamins (building blocks vitamins) cause you goT to take the vitamins for big grown ups actually i think we all should be taking the special bariatric vitamins for us anyway but dont get me started on them darn kids chewables i think that is wrong

Hi Girl, I am so sorry to hear your so miserable, but I just had to tell you that it WILL get better. I had my crying spells and the Oh crap what did I do's and all that stuff, but as time passes it really does get better. I still have good days and bad but I have returned to normal, (well as normal as normal gets for us) The reward we are looking for is getting healthy, not taking handfuls of medicines and for that we get thin in the process. When you see all the commercials with people pigging out on the what looks like good food, just remember that they are actually putting fat and calories into themselves and the eventual outcome will be weightgain!!!! High colesterol and being unhealthy!!!So when you think on all you feel your missing, look to the future and the way you will soon look and feel. My daughter just had the surgery March 2 2008 , and she has had a tough time, throwing up all the time, now at 3 months out she is doing much better, so hang in there and remember this is the best place to vent and get advise. By the way I LOVE shopping for clothes now (dont have to go to the tent section)

I wish you tons of luck and hope this all will pass soon for you.

Starla ~ Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. I really appreciate it. I'm very thankful to have arrived at my (almost) 3 month mark with relatively no complications. My leg is still bothering the shit out of me but when I read some of these horror stories on this board, it makes me feel very thankful and lucky.
I had a rough start but I'm finally settling down into a sense of normalcy. I guess I'm getting used to this 'way of life', which I thought would never happen...lol With the help of all the caring, wonderful people on this website, and with the love and support of my awesome partner, Danita, I know that I can do this.
