YAHOOOOO! Today is my 8-month surgiversary date and I've lost a total of 100 pounds. YAHOOOO! I was hoping to have accomplished this sooner, but I still think I've done pretty well.

I hoped, but never would have counted on being this healthy and happy just 8 short months later. To all you newbies, this is the best thing you can ever do for yourself. I've been so blessed to be where I am today and I thank each of you for helping me along this journey.

Just measured.........I've also lost 73.5 inches! WooHOO

I WISH I was 10 years younger and had done this at that time. I feel like I wasted 10 years being unhappy and just plain ole miserable. Like they say, if I had known then what I know now........

Thank you for the compliment (and actually, I hear this a lot, especially now). Everyone thinks my granddaughter is my daughter!

30 years ago for me!

But - I like to think that things have a reason for happening the way they do. And sometimes you have to travel a rough and windy road before you find a straight bit of highway. Anyway, I might have been a really bad girl if I'd been skinny at 23!

Robin - you have done a wonderful job and you look absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations on your 100lb loss.

Talking of which - have you tried putting a 100lb of groceries into two bags and carrying them around for a while? I did - it just about killed me
