Thank you all, so very much. I totaled up the inches lost and those came to 73.5, woo hoo!! I saw my boss' brother yesterday who I hadn't seen since before surgery. It was so nice to hear him say "where's the other half of you?". I know the day will come when I'll stop hearing those statements, but they are music to my ears.
