But given the support I get here, is 1.00/week excessive? I didn't think so. Hubby didn't either, he fully supported it when I mentioned it to him.
I do not have access to a local support group. TT is my chosen place to get and give support and to me I owe that bit of financial support.
I'd much prefer people used the PM feature for stuff like that though.. For some reason, it just seems........ unnecessary to do that via email. Maybe I'm just being overly sensitive since I'm tired and feeling cranky? Could be.
Um.. okay- whatever. I'm leaving it at that.. explain my reasons for anyone that is really that interested in my reasonings.

[ SIZE="4"]Kel,
Think of your donation as if its your vitamins or its a doctors appointment as it is very vital for you to have support on this great voyage of ours... SOOO with that said tell that person to mind there own damn business!! When has it been ok to question a DONATION?? in fact it is a non profit donation so guess what?.... thats right its tax deductible- paid to Dr Callery- a DOCTOR for a MEDICAL purpose- Kel- I love you donate away![/SIZE]

I live out in sticks and my nearest support group is a 100+ mile trip and it's an evening group. That's 4 gallons of gas @ around $3.00/gallon - $12.00 a week.
For everything this forum has given me over the past 2+ years, $0.96 a week is a small price to pay. Hugs!

It's not in my nature to argue Sue.
I prefer to avoid what inevitably turns into a pi$$ing competition, especially on the internet - life's too short for that.

Phew- LONG but very fun weekend. Worlds fair, scenic drive LOTS of walking- we had to park almost a mile away from the fairgrounds. Presurgery, I would never have made it. We contemplated taking the shuttle as I was worried about my foot holding up but too many lazy people jumped up (and NOT handicapped or older peeps either.. groups of young healthy adults.. *sigh*) Anyway, in the end my foot was fine. Got a few pics but of course, at&t is being a pita this weekend and my pics won't go for some reason
We even skipped the shuttle back to the car so, I'm pretty happy about that!
Today was just busy busy busy, but most of it was sitting on my behind in a car.. we went to burlington to shop.. stopped at two farmers markets.. yummmm and visited for a very few minutes with hubby's youngest.. sadly she couldn't get away for her break as expected. Had lunch at quiznos... Their little 2 dollar sammie is just perfectly sized (and priced!!)
Foot is a tad sore tonight but overall- great weekend. Hopefully scale won't be too terrible tomorrow
