Hubby was havin a problem with his ear and we went in there. It cost $60.00 for the visit and our co-pay for the scrip.

The closest CVS is over 2 hours away, IIRC.
I'll head over to a pharmacy and see if they have any of those ear cleaner kits or something, later today.

It could be vertigo. My dad thought he had that a while ago, and the doc put him on meds. It took him a long time to get over it. His doc explained that sometimes particles get caught in the inner ear and that can cause your whole head to go out of whack, extreme dizziness. His didn't get better when he moved around, but I think he was afraid to. But he ended up using a walker for a while then finally got one of those scooters (he's an old guy, so they let him).
Do you have an urgent care facility nearby? Usually they don't charge an arm and a leg. Just a thought. You probably shouldn't flush your ears out without knowing what's going on. Just my two cents anyway.

Hubby tried the cleaners and didn't get any relief that's why we ended up going to the minute clinic. Just please think about it ok. What's a 2 hour drive compaired to being miserable?

I believe that she does have vertigo.

Yes, I do have a form of vertigo which is why it's difficult for me to suss out the exact cause. I don't think it is the problem since the dizziness is not accompanied with the other normal symptoms (which are a lot like the dumping symptoms we get post-op)
I'm okay as long as I don't make any sudden movements. I've changed to 'smart water' with electrolytes and I'll see if that helps.
Right now, the biggest problem for me is boredom, since I need to keep my head somewhat steady, it limits my activity a lot. And boredom means having to actively resist eating outside of the plan. Not always the easiest thing to do.

For those that are following my health sitch... I'm doing much better today... I've not had any dizziness for the last day and a half.. my back is a bit better, too. Not great, but it's been worse. Odd that I can go months and months without any pain but this is the second time in a matter of weeks where I've pulled my back out and incurred significant pain.
Hubby thinks it has to do with the redistribution of my weight or some such thing and that I need to pay better attention to my bending and lifting. I think I need to also work more on my 'core' or something. I dunno.
He has *all* of the parts now to fix the elliptical, too. SO hopefully I can finally bust out of the 180's and get to my goal. <fingers crossed> I have all kinds of clothes I got at the free clothing swap just waiting for me to be able to wear
Today is a gorgeous day here in the NEK, so once the hubster is done mowing the lawn, we're headed off for something or other.. the club in Maine we wanted to go to this weekend seems to have closed down so we'll probably just go to one of the many county fairs in the area...
