Default Craving!!!

Oh no oh no oh no... I'm craving every food under the sun today. I stood in front of the grocery cupboard for 30 minutes looking at anything I could whip together. I DID NOT eat any of it - still on fluids - but man am I struggling with my head right now. AND I gained 1.2kg (2.6 lb) today?????!!!! How is that even possible. Haven't been drinking anything different, I'm getting in my protein and i'm not premenstrual. I hope the scale will change back tomorrow.

Bad day!!!

Smile Phew!

Turns out, my scale is screwed! For the last few days it has been saying i've put ON weight (which I thought was a bit crazy being just 2 weeks post-op!). I went to the surgeon today to get my staples out and check up etc and his scale says I'm losing nicely. Lost 5.4kg since surgery 2 weeks ago (that's 12 lbs for the imperials). I'm very excited!

When my staples came out though he saw the one small cut was a little swollen and he decided to open it up - luckily - only to find a whole lot of old clotted blood which he had to drain out. If it had stayed there it would have probably caused infection or worse. I have a gaping wound again now, but hey -the staples are out!!!! And I'm still losing weight - I'm not broken!

Default Normal life in pain

So I'm back to normal life again... which means lots of driving around to see my clients which is exhausting me! (But it feels good to be able to invoice my time again!)
I'm only 3 weeks post op now but have been struggling with bouts of crying and weeping over EVERYTHING! Feeling very sorry for myself right now.

I've also been getting a lot of headaches and migraines since saturday - is this normal?? I get headaches quite often in general but not so consistently for so long. I've been taking different painkillers now too in the hopes of finally breaking the pain and went and had an allergic reaction last night - now I have a red blotchy face... sigh!!

Sympathy please!!

But YAY I'm still losing nicely. 7kg in 3 weeks - not too bad huh?!

Exclamation Hang in there Girl!

Hi Annie

I've already given you my version of the crying spells - just go with the flow and don't let it worry you too much

Now, about the headaches and migraines - you didn't say anything about that yesterday when we chatted on Skype? perhaps you should give your surgeon a call and mention this to him? I would have it checked out...

You're doing so well!!!

I get headaches - MIGRAINES - which are completely traceable to my ingestion of NUTRASWEET... I know it's "Everywhere" but try backing that off?

(I am in the testing stages of other artificial sweeteners: wondering if they too will cripple me! )

Best of luck... you are an inspiration.
