Default Keepin' my chin up- Kimberly's story

Well, here I go…

I have been heavy all of my life. I have tried numerous attempts to be a healthier me. Diets, injections, and working out. Only to have lost and then gained: The yo-yo effect. So, I’ve finally made a decision to be proactive about my heath and have WLS. No more yo-yo diets, most important no more failure, and no more self esteem issues due to failing at said diet plan. Today was the big day (fax is already sent to the Bariatric Surgery Clinic) I sent all of my paper work in for approval, and now the wait is on. Hopefully I’ll hear something sooner than later. I’m praying like a holy roller, that’s for sure.

Have a great day, I know mine is!

Kimberly~

On the road to a smaller me! *beep-beep* *zooooom*

I just got the phone call that said, "Your insurance has approved you to be seen at the Bariatric Surgery Clinic."

So, I believe that means I can have the next set of doctors visits, psych eval, nutritionist, and whoever else needs to poke and prod and me before I can get the offical aproval for Surgery.

YAY!

I've never been so excited to hear, "You get to have more doctors visits!" lolol
