So is it just me or once things get started they move very quickly? After getting my insurance call from my PCP, I called the clinic to let them know in the event they didn’t know I was approved for them. The kind woman on the phone said to me, “Give me a few hours and I’ll call you back.”
Those hours have passed and I now have had that phone call. I’m now scheduled for my Medical Evaluation, meeting with a nutritionist (4/18), and the Psych Evaluation (5/18) and then after that (all 11 toes and fingers crossed) another insurance approval and then Surgery.
What a great day!
My grin is so big, it's not the moon you see but my teeth!
lolol
Cheers'

Sometimes, Kim, just good things happen to good people - some sort of magic charm and ability to deal with individuals pushes matters through!
Well done and continued good luck!
Cheers,
Vim

Oh my goodness, I know you're on top of the world right now, and you should be! If I had the support of my TT friends last year I would be almost at my anniversary date. So, stay in touch and together we'll all get to the losers bench (did I say that right)!

Well, I figger I would do an update:
April 18th came and went. I had the doctors visit with the surgeon and the NUT, and everything went well. I have been approved into their Bariatric program. So, blood test, stool test all taken care of. NEXT: two support group meetings, two therapy sessions, a sleep test (date tbd), and I still have that 3 hour psych test to do in May. Thank you everyone for your words of encouragement, the wait game is tough when you want something so badly.
Have a wonderful day!
Kimberly~
