Well I am officially down 50 pounds this week. I can hardly believe it. I never in my wildest dreams expected the weight to come off this fast. I guess there is always that fear in the back of my mind that "it won't work that way for me".

I had my scope yesterday and Dr. Nohr said that everything looked "very good". I was pleased. The nurse asked me why I was in for a scope and I told her that I had had gastric bypass surgery 2 months ago. She couldn't believe it she said that I looked too tiny to have needed gastric bypass surgery. I told her that it was losing that 50 pounds so far that has made a difference. Very nice lady. I enjoyed visiting with her.

I have decided that I am going to run a 5 km race in my hometown the first of July. I figure I could be ready for 5 k by then and then make a goal to do the 10 K for next year. I had forgotten how addicting this exercise thing can be when I'm not carrying 50 extra pounds.

Holy crap girl. 5km...my goodness. You are doing so great and yell it from the rooftop, cause you deserve it!
