I got my chart notes from SRS, but they didn't include the echo or the EKG results. I called yesterday, and then again today -- somehow the reports didn't get into my chart yet. They're going to call cardiology and ask them to fax the reports to medical records at La Mesa, then they'll mail copies to me. I guess that's better than doing the tests all over again!

Smile Nervously waiting

Ok,
I just faxed the last 2 test results to the office. I mailed the others the middle of last week. I hope, I hope it goes fast. 2 people have given notice at my work, and I would like to get back from surgery before the 2nd one leaves in mid-July. I can dream anyway. Maybe if it's Lap I can. I just hate to leave my group down 3 people out of a team of 10!

But, I saw a video of myself at church yesterday. Oh man, I am so huge

Angry

Darn it! They didn't do the Hep C test, or at least they didn't include it in the records they sent me. Aaarrrrrrgggghhhh! I thought they had everything. I am so frustrated.

My PCP didn't order it. I left a message asking for him to please order it for me. No word back yet. Every time I think I'm done -- oops one more thing.

Talking Wonderful news!

Ok, I got my blood drawn last night, and it won't be back for a couple of days.

BUT, I just got the best news!!!!!!!!! We finalize our adoption of Joey on June 17, one day after my husband's birthday, and 2 days before Father's Day. I'd be jumping up and down for joy, except I don't want people to freak out thinking it's an earthquake.

Maybe that's why there's been a delay with all my tests. If I had surgery scheduled that week it would be a problem. The following week would be good . . .

Smile Adoption party June 18

We're going to have a party to celebrate the adoption. My mother-in-law, and one sister-in-law are probably going to come out for the finalization, and, most amazing of all for me -- my half-sister and her family may come out from Missouri also! I am so far beyond thrilled it's difficult to express. I'm hoping my brother who lives in town will be able to come too. He might have to work on Friday.

If any of you stapler buddies want to come, PM me & I'll send you directions.

Now I'm just waiting to see if my PCP's office has faxed the results to Dr. C of my last test. (I know, not supposed to do that but I am so anxious to find out a date, etc.)

OK three phone calls later, they got my last blood test result, and I'm heading for dictation. 2 weeks? Puts me to June 14, then it goes to insurance for approval. . . Looks like July at the earliest.

Oh man, dictation is done, waiting for it to come back from the hospital. I hope it doesn't take forever. . .
