Thanks Kim,
I expect he will bring me through this as he does everything else, and at the end I will wonder why I didn't just relax to begin with, and just cast my cares upon Him.

I think you have a good perspective on things, and although it's obviously extremely painful, it sounds like you're trying to live your life in a healthy, honest way. That's a good thing!
Please continue to come to us as the need materializes. I'm so sorry that these things have happened to you. There must be a greater plan in the mix, somewhere!
I wish you all the best in your new journeys, and take care.

Thank you Mike,
Its something I didn't expect, but the Lord will make all things beautiful in his own time. I think I will have some money and time for myself to go shopping! I won't know what to do with my money all to myself!
Give my best to Emmy, hope she is continuing to do well, I think she is a month post op today the 28th.
Hugs to you both, thanks for the post (little guy).

Holy Moly
Hey lil lady! Jeanie told me last night what was new with you... oh my gosh! I am sorry yet pleased about reading your post. Sorry that things with John are not all bueno but pleased at your strength, and your acceptance of letting go. You have traveled one long hard road, I am absolutely sure that you will get through this, and things will resolve in the way you are hoping they will.... in your heart, thats where the answers are. Live your life without a doubt..... sounds like thats what you are doing right now!
I am going to reittereate something that DaleM had posted sometime ago... I just love this quote: " The world bursts at the seams with people ready to tell you you’re not good enough. On occasion, some may be correct. But do not do their work for them. Seek any job; ask anyone out; pursue any goal. Don’t take it personally when they say “no” – they may not be smart enough to say “yes”"
Here's another that is my absolute fav, I have it tapped to my monitor at work: " The most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself. And if you find someone to love the you YOU love, well, that's just fabulous."
Big hugs to you, take care lil lday!

"People will argue with you that getting what you want in life isn’t something you can learn, if you’re destined to be one of the worlds winners as opposed to one of its perpetual whiners, its because you have been born with the right talents and temperament and have a big dose of self-esteem, ambition, and good judgment." Wow. I can't tell ya what it feels like to look into the mirror without putting myself down in some way. I love my hair. I wish there was more of it, but the new growth is beautiful as it always was. My hair and my legs always won me a great deal of attention. I know they are old now, but I see a shimmering glimpse of that young beautiful girl I was a long time ago. The relationship I have with myself is honest now. I know that John loves me for me, but he doesn't see me. Does that make sense.
John has not played poker in many days, and the first few days he was like a stranger to me. He told me how much he loved me but that he had a craving for the chip. I just said that his life with me is riding on a chip.

That is great that John has not played poker or gambled in awhile. Hopefully he will be able to continue to not play, and then you guys can have your life back with each other!

Thank You Jeanie,
He really wants me to learn and go along with him. But he isn't spending any of my money anyway.
Hugs,
