You'll get thru it. My situation was kind of the opposite. I had no career, was waitresing, with 2 kids. I left my ex with the kids in Idyllwild, because that was where they had grown up. I came to San Diego and went to school, just medical assistant at the time, but was always in Idyllwild every other weekend to bring them down with me.

Luckily, my ex and I remained on decent terms because of the kids and they lived with me in San Diego for awhile, then went to Maui for a while after the dad moved there. I have always been there for my kids and they know it, just as I'm sure your son does now.

My daughter (25) still lives in Maui with her boyfriend of 5 years and talks to me more than she even talks to her dad, who lives there. My son (28) lives in Carslbad with his fiance and barely ever speaks to him. And we talk all the time, in fact I couln't have made it thru my surgery without my son, Josh. He was so absolutely wonderful and so worried about me, I finally said to him, "Gee, I guess you really do like me.

You'll make it through this. I know I don't really know you, but you sound like a very strong woman. I have a couple of friends (including my sister) going through divorce right now. Let me know if there is anything I could do to help.

Traci,

What a nightmare, so sorry you are having to go through this ordeal. Please, please, please get an attorney. Better to be over cautious - plus it might help get some of the burden off your shoulders.

Seems my nightmare has lasted about as long as you are post op. I am sorry I haven't been there for you girlfriend. Hope all is well for you and that you are swinging up the mountain, of sliding down, one or the other, I would rather slide.

Those are their Vegas names. I was tripping out, too. I am jealous....I want a Vegas name...Someone give me one that goes with me, but don't be mean.

All I can say is get an attorney yesterday! I'm so sorry you're going thru this, and I'm praying that the situation will be resolved very soon. I hope you do get full custody of Mark because you might end up owing child support otherwise. Please keep us updated on the situation!
