I had my follow up appointment with Dr. Juarez.

I finally managed to go on the right day

He pronounced me a model patient. (I know I'm very lucky so far)

He signed my resturant card and told me no birth control for 6
weeks out. That means no sex either, I know, I asked.

As I was exiting I told him:

"Thank you for performing this surgery. Thank you for pushing it through before the end of the year. It saved my life."

He smiled from ear to ear and squeezed my shoulder.

"Your welcome. That's what I do. Keep up the good work."

Now I wasn't laying in bed but I take back what I said about his bedside manner. If I had to do it all over again he is the only Dr I would go to. The man is genius.

He also let the labs slide until my 6 week checkup

I just love this thread and the overwhelming feeling I had while reading it was one of "I'm not worthy and I have a wish please".....

I read all the things you talk about and see all the things that you quote (all of them intrigue me but many of them I don't fully grasp) and whereas I always thought of myself as an "old soul" (compared to those around me) I suddenly realised that I still have many reincarnations to fulfill for me to reach the level of spiritual knowledge that you have achieved.... and that is my wish

And thank you for saying that but I have MUCH so very MUCH to learn. I'm not all that evolved. If you knew me in real life you would also know my many weaknesses (O hai please fly over the ocean and help me organize my house!!lol) Sometimes I have to learn lessons over and over again. Sometimes I wish I had the clarity and grasp of parenting that my sister in law does and I feel like a failure next to her.

It's like that saying "there's always going to be someone poorer then you and there will always be someone richer" Materalistic but same concept.

We are all here to support each other. My weaknesses are your strengths. And the quotes my dear sista...most of them are lyrics. lol They are suppose to go over your head when you see them in print. You can't feel them unless you hear the music. It just feels good to type out what melody is in my head.

Hey,

I don't take the word SISTER lightly. Not at ALL.

I twisted the top of my foot. Not my ankle, my foot. I was sitting on the couch reading and Ash's friends knocked on my door. I got up to answer and my foot was asleep. I walked two steps without knowing it then crumpled. I still CRAWLED to the door to let the boys know Ash was at the movies with his Grandma.

This happens about every five years just before my birthday. hmm maybe every four. In 2004 I slipped on a patch of ice and couldn't get up. My best friend J had to drive over and help me up. It's throbbing. I can't sleep. Usually the loratab puts me right into dreamland but tonight it's just completly cracking me out. dunno why? And I don't know why this hits this time every few years.

Reason for everything? See, sometimesI doubt that.
