Thank you for the songs......I was in need of music thearpy. And Katie...good to see you hon. You are looking fab.

Just to clarify, D did not leave me, I asked him to leave. He did take the car stating legally I could not stop him and he was right. He said that he couldnt control me breaking up with him and so I couldn't control that he was taking the car....nice huh?

My wonderful brother flew me out to Utah for my grandpas funeral. I couldn't drive

I'm just so pissed. I had the trade in. I made the down payment and half if not all of all the payments and I can't even borrow my own car????

but ya know what???

Life is good. Life is so good. One of my best friends is crashing here and SHE has a car. It does indeed take a village and I am building my village.
For the first time, in years, maybe even forever. I am happy.

haa so tell me what time do you suggest i take my daughter to do the tubing thing? i'm taking her in August when my moms here. just me and her and did you bring lots of water or what and how much is it these days?

I believe it was around 10.00 to rent each tube. We rented an extra tube and put the cooler in it. Now we are talking four girls here so we brought everything you could possibly need. We had so much stuff we got stuck in a whirlpool for a while.

But yes,
You are gonna need a lot of water. LOTS of sunblock. I liberally applied spf 50 all day long. The only thing that turned lobster red were my feet. I forgot to spray them after I kicked off my water shoes.

Oh and I almost forgot. Bring an old sheet to tie around each tube. It gets really hot if you don't.

It was good times.

I'm glad it's just you and your daughter. Just like old times eh??

I'll have to text you when I'm not at work. There is a lot going on.

I have missed so many of your posts, but I am THRILLED at how your life is slowing making a difference in the right direction. "Love is a many splendoured thing". May you thrive in happiness and take onboard a decent supply and spares of self-love. What you have enough of you can give away, so here is to wishing you plenty!
I am sorry for your loss of your Grandfather - presumably he was around to have witnessed so much of your growing up and seeing you choose your way. A big stone fallen from the family wall. And brilliant too that you have a kind and helpful brother - helps to strengthen family ties.
Strong of you to call the shots and push "D" out - even though it sucks materially. Here's to you and your continued soar to freedom!
