I saw the before pics...You were a doll...Is that your son?
I LOVE the turqoise print top & jewelry. Too bad the shirt is too big for you now!

Did you get those capris yet?? Post a pic of that as soon as you buy them. I have cankles, so there's no way in hell I'd be brave enuff to wear capris. Everything is moving further south on me, the more weight I lose. Ok....So I've had cankles for a while now!

Thanks babe. I appreciate all the compliments.

Yep that's my boy Ashton and I still wear my turquoise shirt. I just pair it with really tight ass jeans

I will most likely pick up the capris on Tuesday and I will post a pic. They don't photogragh well tho. You can't really see the cute detail.

You look great, cankles and all. Your avatar is amazing. That is quite the weight loss.

Where ever did you get that print top? I've found some similar to it here, but they are either silk (and who has silk money??) of bloody polyester! Why on earth they make clothes (especially for overweight women) out of polyester/nylon, I will never, never, NEVER understand. I itch & sweat just looking at it.

I can't wait to see the pants, I can't wait to see the pants, I can't wait to see the pants!!
ok, I'll grow up.

Thanks for the compliment. It's been the hardest "job" if you will, I've ever had. I gave away all my old clothes, so I can never go back. I refuse, from this day on, to buy ANYTHING bigger than a 42EU/14USA. Period.

We tried to take a picture with DBF/DH in the other half, but even tho he's an engineer, he couldn't figure out the timer on the camera. (Read the manual, I say!!) I will get a friend to take the picture & then I can post some before & after photos.

I think the Vegas plans might be off. Donna is not at all well, from what I understand. That lovely, sweet, kind woman has enuff crap to deal with.

^I actually purchased it from Lane Bryant and would you believe it was on the sales rack??? 14.99

Sometimes a girl just gets lucky

Capris by Tuesday....PROMISE!!! Perhaps before. We will see how it goes.

I'm floating down the river tomorow and I'm sure that I'll need all day Saturday to recover.

And I'm also worried about D but I'm sure she'll be ok. In her own words "she's a tough old bird"

I'm sure we will be meeting in Vegas and I would love to meet you there.

Which river are you tubing? I haven't done that since before Mags was born. Like 87 or something...

I'm waiting to see what happens with the Vegas trip. Problem is, I have a limited period of time to meet up in Vegas. We are still changing our roadtrip plans around. Seems like it's from day to day where we are going. Price of gas there lately has us thinking twice about how far we really want to drive. For now, Banff is ff the plans

You won't be needing to shop at Lane Bryant anymore. I think it was Kelly (something about her skirt falling of???!!!) who said she bought some books & was going to re-sew/design her clothes. I guess you could do that if you want. But at $14.99, you can't beat the price. I have some linen dresses & blazers that I'm taking to a seamstress to have altered. The dresses are a 28.
I'm going to have them made into tunics & have sleeves put on them. I can't hack my arms at this point!
love,
nancy

^We are tubing down the salt river. I'm so excited that I got up early. I stepped on the scale and I'm at 182.6 That's exciting!! Creeping closer to the 170's all the time. People are starting to notice and comment. I still insist that I'm melting.

My sister in laws mom offered to take in all my clothing when I first had my surgery but I never went over to get measured and at that point it was mostly jeans. I'm sure her offer still stands and it sure does justify buying those capris.

I can't sew worth a damn. I tried in highschool and I just don't have it in me. I'll leave it to the experts.

Ok...I'm off to "gather at the river....the beautiful, beautiful river....."

^You know what?? It's hard to go at first but after you've done it for awhile, your body craves it. Endorphines just come flooding in and it makes your whole world seem a lot brighter. You FEEL it when you don't go. I was floating down the river so I didn't go Friday, my arms were killing me on Sat so I skipped it again and THEN D and Ash are going to a football game Monday and so I can't get in till TUESDAY. I can't even explain how you feel when you've been going and then you just don't. I had worked my way up to going around the circle three times rather then two. With the 3 lbs weights. The ladies that attend my Curves are fantastic and motivating, the time just flies by......

My float down the river was a blast. It was so relaxing to just lay back and do nothing.

I liberally applied spf 50 about every half hour or so but I completly forgot to spray my feet after I took off my "river shoes." My feet were lobster red and they hurt. I just kept telling myself that it could have been my entire body.

We got stuck in a whirlpool and went through it about five times.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Fathers Day was great. Ash brought Dan a breakfast jack in bed and then we had him open his new Disturbed cd and swimsuit before I left for work. They hung out at the pool today and now Dan's entire back is lobster red.

Ahh... Welcome to the Arizona summer. I am now going to lock myself in my room and watch season 4 of Sex in the City and leave the boys to the Sunday Night Animation Domaination.

Thanks for the good wishes! We had a pretty good day. I patched cracks in our sidewalks and weed whacked the front yard!

We took a walk this afternoon and now I'm heading off to bed!

I've been listening to the Ting Ting's lately. Heard of 'em? I like their album.

Talk to you later, tater!
