I was late to work today. I stayed at my brothers till 1am.

My sister called and said that grandpa is slipping away quicker then expected.

I'm tired and numb right now.

^I'm so there. That actually works out great. Ash would pout everytime a Sex in the City preview came on tv. Now he knows there is something in it for him.

I had an intense workout today. The trainer at curves kicked my butt.

I guess it is time to start using weights and to stop treating the machines like they are a break between the cardio. Gotta work them just as hard.

tomorow is my friday and I'm so ready for some time off. It's hard right now because my head is SO not in the game. Daily life just seems pointless right now. Everyday this week I just wanted to keep on driving.

Road trip. Soon. By MYSELF...

I was so ready for this day off!!

I'm trying to pull a double at Curves. I've already been once today and was asked when was the last time I weighed myself
"Today" I laughed
"What was it?"
"191"
No way! That's five pounds since the last time you weighed in. Get over here and weigh on our scale."
So I did and nervously informed her that when I weigh at home it is sans shoes AND clothes. But the result was the same. So I officially changed my siggy.

I was going to snap some pics but I have a slight skin condition. Earlier in the week I applied some oil of olay self tanning cream that is suppose to work overnight. It did tan me two shades darker but also left little bumps that I couldn't resist scratching. It now looks like I have scabies (gross) I even have little dry patches on my face. From now on I'll just stick to tanning naturally. Today is not the day for it though. The az sky is trying to pour rain. I love days like this. Maybe I'll have D snap some body shots.

I am now officially a size 16.

Not only an "avenue" size 16. A true blue size 16 in Gloria Vanderbuilt jeans. They were 80% off and my mom snatched them up when she saw the "amanda" label. She thought that I could squeeze into them in a couple of weeks, but they fit now. As did the dress and the capris. (she went a little crazy after I told her they fit)

Then I went to Macys and Kohls not to buy but to verify...yep size 16.

Old Navy....check
Gap....check (although less of a selection

)

I'm saving my money for a real shopping spree later on down the line. I will invest in shoes tho'

It's a print that they are handing out at some convention this weekend. Rantz and Neil Gaiman evidently will be there signing them in preparation for the Comic Book Tattoo book.

I've not decided whether or not to purchase it... but it looks cool!

Is tomorrow your "date" with Deb? Ya'll have a good time, and give Deb a BIG OLE SOUTHERN hug for me!

I have not figured out which Comic Book Tattoo I want. I can't really afford the signed Limited Edition right now. (sigh)

I went to 12:01 am showing of Sex in the City. It was so good. so so so good. The audience really added to the big debut there were cheers, tears, and laughter. There were fashion dresses and high heeled shoes. As for what was on the big screen......I'm such a sap. Even in the "happy" part of the movie I cried. I cried when the orginal white tutu made a cameo appearence. I shed more tears when I reconized the cab driver. The things only a true "sex" fan would notice. It was a heartwrenching movie that I have been anticipating for years. 4 years if we are counting

I'm going to try and make it again tonight with some girlfriends. The movie much be shared. I just wanted to get all my initial reactions out of the way.

Today is going to be a great day!!
