Hey Everyone!
I have not been on the board for a while so I thought I would update you all on what I have been up too.
A bitter sweet week for me. I said good bye to Texas this week. My company gave me the option to relocate and work from a home office instead of our corporate office.
We sold our home in Texas this week and purchased a lovely home here in Missouri. Missouri is where I grew up and ALL my family is here including the in-laws. However been a long LONG time over 10 yrs since I lived here in my hometown so quite an adjustment going from city to small town. I know this is the BEST thing for my family...besides my son now can be raised around grandparents and cousins.

The moving company will not deliver our stuff until Monday AM and I am looking forward to my stuff and getting settled.
As for weightloss...been slow this past month but I have not weighed in a few weeks since the move started.
As I look back I have been through a lot this year. WLS...a job promotion now a relocation! YIKES! But Life is still good and I am so Blessed!
Thank you call who have sent cards and messages of encouragement!

I LOVE THIS FORUM FAMILY!

I believe last year Lynda told me hold on it will be a wild ride....Girl you were not kidding! LOL

Yay, you're moving on, moving up! I'm so happy for you that you're getting this new opportunity. Sounds like a dream. Your little one will appreciate getting to see his family more, I'm sure. Best of luck with the unpacking. If you feel like it, I'm sure we'd all love to see pics of the new place!

I'm enjoying this wild ride, too, but your's sure has had some twists and turns...

SOOOOO Excited! I just made my 1st purchase @ Victoria's Secret this past week. It was one on my goals to be able to fit into their stuff! Well...I am thrilled and so is hubby!

I am having to learn how to shop all over again. LOL I have always needed plus sizes and now I am discovering a new world with the misses sizes! Good Bye 3x! Hello jr/miss!

What a month I have had. I am so ready to get back to a "nomal" schedule. I am so ready to get settled in the new house/town and find a gym and trainer and get back to work on WL!
The scale did move this morning and I was very excited! Down 115 lbs and weighing 229...come on Onderland!

I honestly and thrilled with my results just 8 months post opp. I feel amazing and gaining my health back and the rewards of slimming down in sizes are awesome as well! I have noticed an entire new world. I have never been a "nomal" size to experience being "normal" as an adult is very cool. I feel I am adjusting very well to the new Paula and new life.
I am so glad I invested (this ride is not easy) in WLS...I have truly changed my life and also a future with my family!

Life is GOOD!

This has been a crazy month for you! WOW! Glad the scale has moved again---you're doing great!

There has to be such chaos from time to time to help us appreciate the boredom of ROUTINE!!!

So I did all liquids today...only H2O and protein drinks. I had not really noticed thast was truly enjoying carbs WAY TO MUCH until today. I wanted to munch on some pretzels soooo bad (thougth about chewing off my arm lol!) But I made it! LOL

Also I weighed this morning and I was so excited! Down anther 2 lbs for a total of 117!

Tonight hubby took me out to look for a few new pieces to add to my wardrobe since my once queen size closet has shrunk done to the bare closet rods! LOL (I love the problem and only miss having the racks of suits for work not the sizes!)
I was so excited (if fact I sent Renee a text while driving back from the store

) I bought a dress and a shirt in a size LARGE! WOW! How cool was that! Only 8 months ago I was in a 26-28 3X.

Thought I would share my joy!

I am off to pack my new threads I am flying out to Hilton Head SC tomorrow, Myrtle Beach SC on Wed and Memphis on Thurs. It is a short travel week for me as I am back Thursday night.
