Post Surgery Date is near!! Nov 6

I had laparoscopic gastirc bypass surgery on nov 20 2007...It went wonderful...all the gas was hard to deal with..but other than that it was great!! went in the hospital on tuesday and got to come home Thanksgiving day...my bed at home look so good to me , I hate the hospital bed...hardest part for me is drinking 64 oz ..how do you do it ???

I'm very on edge...both because of the upcoming surgery & the pre-op diet. I am absolutely having to take deep breaths in a ton of situations and not say anything to anyone until I do breathe.
I totally get where you are at but This too shall pass. It always does. So we can hold each other's hands through this and we'll be just fine.

Post Doing Wonderful !!

Doing wonderful ...went back for my 2 weeks cheekup DR said I was doing great and 11 lbs lost ...I can now eat a few bites of real food...But really dont want nothing...my husband will have his surgery Dec 11 ...he is now on edge like I was ..but it will pass..Thanks to everyone and Thanks for this site..Still trying to learn how to do what on here..not sure if I will ever get it right...I can drink now as someone told me on here sip,sip and that is how its done lol..in all I have lost 37 lbs with diet before surgery..so I feel wonderful... Right now I dont feel like I ever had surgery..other than my tummy is small
