I ate the whole thing...but all together, it probably was between 1/4 to 1/2 cup of corn, so it wasn't that impressive, speaking in terms of the pouch!

We bought one of those Rotisserie Chickens from the grocery store. I brought it home and took the skin off, then pulled the chicken off (it was SO tender!)

I had about 1/2 cup of the pulled chicken on top of 3/4 a cup of lettuce (approximately) with a tablespoon or so of Feta Cheese, then drizzled with Greek dressing.

After that, we had fresh corn on the cob...I don't think I've tasted anything more heavenly since the surgery...it was SOOOOO good! (I used spray butter and put salt on it too!)

Also, we cooked the corn in one of those Ziploc microwave bags and it was spot on perfect!

I had to eat it in two stages about 5 or so minutes apart so I could eat the corn, and I ended up a little nauseous because we went for a walk immediately after dinner, but it was well worth it!

Yum Yum!

Let me tell you about last night:

Frozen Salmon steaks, drizzled with olive oil and cracked salt and pepper, baked for about 20 minutes at 325.

Broccoli with a tad of butter and salt and a couple dollops of mashed potatoes (from Schwans because they are the bomb!).

*In the voice of Chef from SouthPark*: I'm gonna make love to ya SALMON...

-Mike

PS. Did that help?

Mmmm, yummy food! I adore those grocery store rotisserie chickens -- probably consistently the best chicken I have EVER tasted! It is even that good a few days later, which I normally can't do because chicken usually dries out so quickly. But the only time I ever get any is when I'm at mom's because it is just WAY too much for one person and her tiny pouch.
