I hope my tastes don't change too drastically, I've been feeling this week that I CAN do this. I'm just nervous about tomorrow.

I look forward to coming back and writing about my experience in a few days. I can't even begin to tell you what a comfort it's been to be able to see all of your experiences and triumphs since I joined the forum. I appreciate all of your contributions, and look forward to seeing you on the Loser side in a few short days.

I raise a glass (with protein infused Crystal Light!) to you all for your bravery. I know it will carry me through this new road I begin in the morning.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for coming when I yelled HELP! But I alittle confused-I think? When did you have your surgery? If I am looking at this correctly it was just last year, August? If this is the case and you have lost over a 100#'s WOW! You are good! How much excercising do you do?

You are a winner!!

Default New Side by Side Pic

Liz took a new pic of me today that I did side by side with my pre op pic. I think I'm finally starting to see a little difference!

MIKE! You're amazing! Yes, I can see a little difference.

By the way, you don't look like you weigh 272 in that pic -- you look smaller than that, to me. Keep up the awesome work.

You need a good slapping. What do you mean by a "little" difference????

There is a HUGE difference Mike!

Question - have you been keeping measurements of your girth?

Just in relation to my pants size. As Jim might say, I've lost 14 inches in my pants.

Default Looking amazing!

Mike, you're looking amazing! Yeah, I can see a little bit of a difference, too - does your arm look slightly longer in the photo on the right? In all seriousness, please notice that your arm DOES look longer, because it hangs down now, instead of being pushed out to the side like a flipper by the ginormous belly you used to have!

As far as the "good slapping" suggested by Corrine, I think that there are a few "Bear" websites (no, not Gwen's kind of bear!) that would pay good money to have some pictures of that...

I'm about 4 pounds lower than the signature...multiples of five are easier to change so I'll change my sig in one more pound!

Um, I'm solid...all this hanging skin is solidly swaying in the breeze! My ass has become a soft pillow...my wife wants to sleep on it, except she can't stand the gastric wind...
