Default New Gastric Bypass biography book

My wife and I have both had RNY surgery - she is 4 years out and i just had mine last week. Before my surgery I picked up Winning For Losing by Stacey Halprin which chronicles how she finally addressed the emotional and mental issues that lingered after having RNY surgery.

Just after my surgery, my wife reiterated a story from the book that horrified me. Within weeks after having her surgery, she gorged on chinese food to test the surgery! Of course everything she ate only had a short visit in her body. Considering I can barely put about 1 oz of broth and just small bits of jello in me for a "meal" four days after my surgery...this absolutely sickened me to hear. She also talks about some other continuing habits that I thought were interesting. My wife is hogging the book so I don't know much else other than the book has taught her a few things she didn't know.

Wondering if anyone else has read this book and had any thoughts.

Default Haven't seen it either

Writing my own book...so I'm afraid to read anyone else's! But anyone who would do that has to have a screw loose or maybe even two. People are funny.
